How to Track Your Order.
1) Check your email for the shipping confirmation
- After you place your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.
- Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email (sometimes called “Your order is on the way”).
- This shipping email usually contains your tracking link and tracking number.
2) Click the tracking link
- Open the shipping confirmation email.
- Click “Track your order” (or the tracking URL).
- You’ll be taken to the carrier tracking page (or a tracking page hosted by the store).
3) Use the “Order Status” page (if you can’t find the email)
Most Shopify stores have an order status page you can access in one of these ways:
- Search your inbox for the store name + “order confirmation” or “shipping confirmation”.
- In your order confirmation email, click “View your order” or “View order status”.
- If the store has an on-site tracking page, go to Track Order in the website menu/footer.
4) Track using your tracking number on the carrier’s site
If the tracking link doesn’t load properly:
- Copy the tracking number from the shipping confirmation email.
- Paste it directly into the carrier’s website (e.g., Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, DHL, UPS, USPS, FedEx).
5) Wait 24–48 hours for tracking to update
It’s common for tracking to show:
- “Label created” or “We’ve got it” for the first day
- No movement until the carrier scans it at a depot
If your tracking hasn’t updated after 48 hours, it may not have been scanned yet.
6) If your order has multiple parcels, check for multiple tracking links
Sometimes Shopify orders ship in separate packages (especially if items are fulfilled from different locations).
- Your shipping email may include more than one tracking number
- You might receive multiple shipping emails for the same order
7) If tracking shows “Delivered” but you can’t find it
Do a quick check:
- Safe place / porch / shed / side door
- Neighbours / reception / mailroom
- If available, check carrier “proof of delivery” photo
If it’s still missing, contact the store with:
- Order number
- Delivery address
- Screenshot of tracking status
8) Contact support if needed
If any of the following happens, reach out to the store:
- No tracking after 3 business days from ordering
- Tracking hasn’t updated after 48 hours post-dispatch
- Item appears lost or stuck in transit unusually long
- Delivered but not received
Include your order number so support can locate it instantly.
